Immune Boosting Juice with Winter Fruits
By July, those of us who live in the Southern Hemisphere are already looking forward to spring. During these final months of winter, I find my immune system — and my attitude — could both benefit from a little boost. So, I like to start my day with this delicious, vitamin-packed juice. The addition of chia seeds makes it more filling and will ensure you remain satisfied all morning long.
Immune Boosting Juice with Winter Fruits

250 ml
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 small pineapple
- 1 small grapefruit
- 3 oranges
- 2 red apples
- 2 carrots
- 6 passion fruits (granadillas)
- 1 5 cm piece of fresh ginger, peeled
Instructions
- Mix chia seeds with boiling water in a small bowl. Set aside to cool.
- Process all the other ingredients according to the instructions for your juicer
- Stir chia seed mixture into the juice.
- Serve and enjoy!
